Quite literally an ego death, given how Parson seems to struggle with distinguishing Gavin from his own thoughts. [...] I wonder what it feels like, for him.
Absolutely. But it's difficult to get registration records from IRIS. I had to explain to them what sort of research I needed this for, then it had to go through bureaucratic red tape, and now I have to be careful about who I share this information with so IRIS doesn't think I'm just doing this for my own amusement.
[...] I've been thinking a lot about that too. Like. If his thoughts feel like his own but he doesn't recognize them all the time or they're definitely definitely gavin like. Making himself heard in Parson's brain? Which ooof course gav WOULD.
Well I won't tell. [...] Ok governments suck but there's ways to cut that tape i bet. I wonder if Colchester keeps its own records? OR it's small enough that we could do a lil impromptu interviewing in the supermarket or something n ask if there's a liminal support group or sooomethin.
He couldn't have picked a worse person to absorb the mind of. [...] Although they did regularly link powers before the whole incident, so Parson must be somewhat used to having Gavin in his head.
Hmm. I bet Ernestine would know about Liminals in her town, or any who might have known her father. I could ask her, but I'd have to be careful.
romantic. ew. do you know how that works anyway? Parson's power? like. have u ever been psychic powermind linked with anyone?
Oooh probably more helpful than grocery store polling. [...]you miiight not even have to bring up her dad right away you could just go in like oh hey hi u are so smart about liminals what's the scene like at home how long have you known them??
God, no. I wouldn't trust anyone with access to my mind. But from what I understand, Parson creates a short-term empathic link between two people, and if they're Liminals, they can share powers or even combine theirs into a new power. This was Gavin's favourite part.
Ah. I could do that. You're much better with peopl[...] Thank you.
I bet he was I wish I could've [...] sacrificing dignity and literal brainspace for Even Cooler Power sounds riiiight. God. That's kinda cool but also? Nightmare. I'm w/u here no one gets in my brain thaaanks.
[...] yeah. I talk to her a lot too now? so if it doesn't come up w u guys i could slip it in there just let me know.
